Paul Pierce is great from beyond the three pointer and he can also take it to the hole. He is a great all around player. He played for Kansas in college. As a junior he was already on the boards with a 20.5 scoring average (points per game). He was third in the nation. In rebounding he was also shining. He average a career best of 6.7 rebounds a game. He was also scoring a career best in scoring with .153 average. He went to the NCAA Tournament many times with the JayHawks before being picked in the NBA Draft in Boston’s first round. He was a tenth overall pick. He just kept getting better. In Paul Pierce’s career he has shown his tremendous ability on and off the court. During this 2003 year Paul Pierce has been the outstanding player leading the Boston Celtics to victory. With the help of his teammate Antoine Walker he has blown past all competitors trying to get in his way.
